Too Many Military Veterans Are Unemployed.
Farm Veterans Coalition Donate or Volunteer
http://www.farmvetco.org/

The Farmer-Veteran Coalition – a project of Community Partners - seeks to help our returning veterans find employment, training and places to heal on America's farms. We cultivate a new generation of farmers and food leaders, and develop viable employment and meaningful careers through the collaboration of the farming and military communities. We aspire to lead the national effort connecting veterans to agriculture. Our goal is to assist 10,000 veterans through training, mentorship, and direct assistance. We believe that veterans possess the unique skills and character needed to strengthen rural communities and create sustainable food systems for all. We believe that food production offers purpose, opportunity, and physical and psychological benefits.

The vision of the Bob Woodruff Foundation is to provide resources and support to injured service members, veterans and their families -- building a movement to empower communities nationwide to take action to successfully reintegrate our nation's injured heroes—especially those who have sustained the Hidden Injuries of War—back into their communities so they may thrive physically, psychologically, socially and economically.

Work Vessels for Veterans
http://wvfv.net/

Work Vessels for Veterans (WVFV)is an all-volunteer movement assisting returning veterans to begin their civilian careers or educational pursuits by acquiring and distributing the necessary start-up tools. Founded with the gift of a fishing boat that began a commercial fishing career for a returning Iraq veteran, the foundation is expanding its outreach to other industries to assist our returning military.
